This is a recording of a metal desk creaking with very little movement. I recorded this sound, amplified it, and removed the white noise. That's the only processing this sound has gone through. I'm sure this sound can be modified in many different ways and put to countless uses. Be sure to check out the variations of this sounds from the "creaking metal pack". Recorded with: shure sm57 dynamic microphone. Processed with: audacity. ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------please leave feedback by commenting below. I'd love to hear your thoughts about this sound and what you used it for. If you published your finished compilation to the web go ahead and include a link. If you have any questions or requests feel free to contact me. Thank you. ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------.

A quick clip of me saying "enemy boat spotted" in a low tone through a motorola cls series radio as a video game reference. Should be a great audio joke for all your inspired military style films to randomly insert playing from a tactical radio in the middle of no where for those who get it. Tascam dr-07 mkii stereo inserted directly into a motorola cls series radio and did a basic normalization in sony sound forge to make it more audible. I may or may not do requests depending on how many people like this. We'll see.

**please rate if you like this sound. I appreciate it so much!!**. This is an effect i created with my voice to create a demon growl in audacity using my audio technica microphone. I wanted to create a sound that could be creepy but not too scary for kids or children's stories originally. Ominous, creepy, scary, evil, type sound. This is the original and i uploaded another version with paulstretch added as well. I download from this site often and want to give back! please contact for any requests. You may use this sound for free but please credit me using either tiffany marz or voices of marz. Thank you!! enjoy :). I wanted to create a sound that could be creepy but not too scary for kids or children's stories originally. Then i added the paulstretch effect in audacity to create a more ominous, creepy, scary, evil, sound for a more horror like ambience. I am uploading the original as well without paulstretch and maybe another version with echo and/or reverb. I download from this site often and want to give back by uploading my own sounds! please contact for any requests. Please rate if you like this sound :). This is my voice. I was trying to recreate a similar sound to those of the shrieking nazgul creatures in lord of the rings. They are referred to as different things but overall a creepy, evil, raspy, breathy type screeching sound. I created this with a type of practiced scream on a blue yeti usb condenser microphone. I recorded in audacity and added some reverb, fade in, and fade out. It was originally for a video game voice over audition. I also have the original with no fx if needed. My example/inspiration were the creatures in lord of the rings, fellowship of the ring. They are also called the fell riders and the black wings (when they ride the fell beasts), as well as the shadows, the servants of sauron, and the nine servants of the lord of the rings. The orcs of the tower of cirith ungol call them shriekers. I download from this site often, so i thought i would return the favor :). Feel free to contact me with any other requests!. Noise created by individual oscillators, using audio paint, with different height images, to demonstrate what happens with too few oscillators vs. Plenty. In the end, the result is not random enough to be noise. The first 2-second burst is pure white noise for comparison. Then we have multiple 1-second bursts from audio-paint in a sequence of different image sizes: 50,100,150,200,250,350, 500, 700, 1000, 1350, 1750, 2200, 2700, 3250, 3850, 4500, and 9999 (this corresponds to the number of oscillators). The last burst is longer, and there is 1/2 second gap of silence after the first (reference) burst and before that last (9999) burst. The images other dimension was 20. The spacing of frequencies was exponential, between 40 hz and 18 khz. This is not intended to be useful, just an illustration during a discussion in a forum (http://www. Freesound. Org/forum/sample-requests/35199/?page=2#post75605). As mentioned there, i realized only afterward that exponential spacing would be giving me an approximation to pink noise instead of white noise, so the reference burst at the start is not really a fair comparison. Ideally, i would go back and re-do all this using linear spacing, but that's a lot of trouble. :-) i did, however, change to linear to get a white approximation, but that's a different sound i'll upload separately (c. F. Http://www. Freesound. Org/people/zimbot/sounds/242053/). I don't believe you can get true white noise without at least something being random in your synthesis method.
